About FRC.

The Ferrando Racing Club is the brainchild of Graeme Rogerson, NZ Racing Hall of Fame Trainer and Paul Favretto, Businessman & Horse Breeder. They wanted to introduce a new way of sharing in Racehorse ownership that breaks the mould. This has been coupled with their belief in the NZ sprint sensation and now Stallion, Ferrando. For individual owners to share in 12 Ferrando horses, for 1 set fee per annum, is truly unique, a World first. You are invited to be part of this, part of Ferrando, his progeny and their very promising future.

About the team.

Ferrando Racing Club Manager - Lisa Rogerson

Having worked with Rogerson Racing for over 20 years Lisa’s main focus for the last few years has been owner communication. Due to her understanding and management skills Graeme has provided Lisa the opportunity, appointing her as the Club Manager of the Ferrando Racing Club. Lisa was one of Ferrandos biggest supporters during his racing career and is particularly excited by the prospects of the Club and seeing Ferrando move to Westbury Stud to take up his Stud duties.

“We have a fantastic group of horses in this club and I am thrilled to see some of our long time owners already signing up to be part of this experience. I can’t wait to meet all the new people who are coming on board with us, I will see you all in the winners room soon!” (Lisa Rogerson).

Ferrando Racing Club Trainer - Graeme Rogerson MNZM (NZ Racing Hall of Fame)

Graeme has been training horses for over 50 years and, simply put, loves what he does. With over 5000 winners to date – loving what he does has certainly brought great success.

He has enjoyed many sojourns around the World and seen the best the Racing World has to offer. However, he is most at home in New Zealand and is particularly pleased to bring the Ferrando Racing Club to life for owners old and new. Graeme has been a huge supporter of New Zealand Racing for a long time and will continue to do what he can to bring local Racing and Breeding to the forefront of the industry, like this Club.

He rated Ferrando highly during his racing career and believes he has the potential to be one of New Zealand’s best sprinting stallions. He has hand-picked six fillies and six colts for the club, highlighting a strong offering of exciting prospects including some early two year olds.

“I couldn’t be happier to have my family working with me in all facets. To have both of my children at the stables and actively involved is fantastic and I hope Lisa & myself have a lot of fun with everyone who joins the Ferrando Racing Club.”

Ferrando will stand at Gerry Harvey’s Westbury Stud in Karaka during 2023–20224.
